For the year ending December 31, 2012 the number of packages approved by the lab was 990, while for calender year 2011, the lab has completed review of 1033 submissions.  The average number of days to completion was 19 for both 2011 and 2012.  TSB has rejected 27 submission in 2011, and 46 submissions in 2012.  There were 51 submissions that were withdrawn by manufacturers in 2011 and 54 in 2012.  The lab has processed 16 NJ First submissions in 2011 and 27 submissions in 2012.  As of December 31, 2012, the backlog has been reduced to a record low of 29 submissions.
