  Crash Investigation Courses Offered for FY2009  
 

The N.J Division of Highway Traffic Safety is pleased to present our crash investigation class schedules for fiscal year 2009. Our cadre of highly qualified instructors will be teaching Northwestern University Center for Public Safety Crash Investigation One, Two, and Vehicle Dynamics. Vehicle Crash Reconstruction will also be offered and this year will be taught by members of the Institute of Police Technology and Management. The Coordinator for the Division's Crash Investigation Training Program is SFC Carsten Boethig, NJSP 609-633-9306.

As in the past all courses are funded through a grant maintained by the Division of Highway Traffic Safety and there is no charge or fees to students. It should again be noted that there is a significant amount of algebra in all courses. It is suggested that those with weak algebra skills consider refreshing their math abilities prior to enrollment. A scientific calculator is needed for all classes.
Please note that the Division of Highway Traffic Safety does not enroll students. You must call the numbers listed for each class.
For Crash Investigation II and Vehicle Dynamics classes, students must bring the textbook that they were issued during Crash Investigation I.
