The Consumer Protection
Practice Group, headed by the Assistant
Attorney General in Charge, Consumer Protection,
includes three sections which have substantial
responsibility for protecting consumers, through
enforcement of the Consumer Fraud Act and providing
counsel and representation to more than forty
professional and occupational licensing boards.
The sections are Professional
Board Prosecution,
Securities Fraud, Consumer
Fraud Prosecution, and Debt
Recovery.
