Assistant Attorney
General In Charge
The DYFS Practice Group, headed by the Assistant
Attorney General in Charge of DYFS Matters,
with assistance from an Assistant Attorney General,
consists of four sections which provide representation
to the Division of Youth and Family Services
(DYFS) in cases where DYFS is seeking supervision
of abused and neglected children or is seeking
termination of parental rights. The four sections
are organized geographically: DYFS-North;
DYFS-Central; DYFS-Essex;
and DYFS-South.
