Deputy Attorney General - Special Litigation
The
Litigation Practice Group, headed by the Assistant
Attorney General in Charge of Litigation, with
assistance from three other Assistant Attorneys
General, includes seven sections which have
responsibilities involving a substantial amount
of litigation. Those sections are Corrections
and State Police; Election
Law; Employment Litigation;
Employment Counselling;
Judiciary and Prosecutors;
Tort Litigation; and
Insurance Fraud. The
Assistant Attorneys General have overall responsibility
for the management of the practice group. In
addition they provide policy direction and advice
for the handling of litigation throughout the
Division.
