The Professional Boards Prosecution Section civilly
prosecutes disciplinary matters against licensed
professionals for violations of statues, regulations
and standards governing the practice of professions
and occupations in New Jersey. The actions are
brought in administrative forums and in the names
of the Attorney General and the pertinent professional
or occupational licensing board. Section attorneys
also work closely with the Division of Consumer
Affairs in the investigation of alleged regulatory
violations by professionals.
