Un Hombre del Condado de Burlington Se declara Culpable de Posesión de Cocaína en Primer Grado

TRENTON - La Fiscal General Anne Milgram y el Director de la División de Justicia Criminal Gregory A. Paw informaron que un hombre del condado de Burlington se declaró culpable de posesión de cocaina con la intención de distribuir, en primer grado.

James Ellis,de 47 años, residente en Mt. Holly, se declaró culpable de posesión de cocaína con la intención de distribuir en primer grado, luego de comparecer ante la Juez de la Corte Superior del condado de Burlington Patricia R. LeBon.

Segun el acuerdo de culpabilidad, Ellis enfrenta 10 años y medio de carcel, y no podrá ser elegible para obtener libertad condicional en 5 años y 3 meses. Asimismo deberá devolver $7,500 que se le fue confiscado al momento de ser arrestado. El Juez LeBon, fijó el 3 de octubre como la fecha de su sentencia.

La investigación estuvo a cargo de la Policia Estatal de New Jersey, la Oficina Federal contra el Alcohol, Tabaco y Explosivos(ATF) y la División de Justicia Criminal.

Los miembros de la policia y ATF, arrestaron a Ellis en su domicilio en la calle Mill en Mount Holly el 15 de octubre de 2007. Después de inspeccionar su residencia, los detectives recuperaron más de 5 onzas de cocaína.
