Una Mujer de Paulsboro,Condado de Gloucester, se Declara Culpable de Robo de más de $190,000 por Falso Reclamo a una Firma de Seguros

TRENTON – La Fiscal General Anne Milgram y la Directora de la División de Justicia Criminal Deborah Gramiccioni informaron que una mujer del condado de Gloucester se declaró culpable del robo de más de $190,000 por un reclamo fraudulento a una firma de seguros.

La Procuradora contra los Fraudes en Seguros, Greta Gooden Brown, dio a conocer que Julia Daniels Anderson, de 41 años, de Paulsboro, se declaró culpable al comparecer ante el Juez de la Corte Superior del Condado de Gloucester Robert Becker, por el delito de robo en segundo grado.

Durante la audiencia de culpabilidad, Daniels Anderson confesó que entre el 3 de agosto de 2004 y el 8 de marzo de 2007, cometió el robo de $190,802 de la firma Cigna Insurance Company al someter un reclamo fraudulento al seguro de salud, pidiendo se le devuelva la cantidad que utilizó en el tratamiento de una radiación, algo que nunca recibió.

El Detective Carlos Ortiz, la Investigadora Civil Danene Derrickson, y la Vice Fiscal Cheryl A. Maccaroni fueron asignados a la investigación.

El caso fue referido por la Unidad Especial de Investigaciones de Cigna Insurance Company que inicialmente descubrió el fraude.

El 12 de diciembre del presente año, Daniels Anderson tendrá que comparecer ante el juez Becker para ser sentenciada. Los delitos en segundo grado se castigan con sentencias máximas de 10 años en prisión y el pago de una multa de $150,000.
