Un Hombre del Condado de Morris se Declara Culpablede Distribuir Pornografía Infantil

TRENTON -La Fiscal General Anne Milgram y el Director de la División de Justicia Criminal, Deborah Gramiccioni, informaron que un hombre del condado de Morris se declaró culpable de distribución de pornografia infantil a través del internet.

La Directora Gramiccioni, dio a conocer que Geecheng Chen, de 54 años, de Long Valley, se declaró culpable al comparecer ante el Juez de la Corte Superior John B. Dangler en el condado de Morris, por cargos criminales de poner en peligro la vida de un menor en segundo grado, al distribuir pornografia infantil. Durante la audiencia de culpabilidad, Chen, admitió que el 17 de diciembre de 2007, utilizó el internet para distribuir pornografia infantil. Una investigación conjunta entre la Policia Estatal de New Jersey y la División de Justicial Crimina, determinó que Chen comercializó los materiales de pornografia utilizando un servicio de mensajes al instante (AIM) , lo mismo que una página Web que permite a los usuarios compartir fotografias(Photobucket).El 4 de abril, miembros de la policia estatal, efectuaron un allanamiento en la vivienda de Chin y confiscaron varios videos relacionados con pornografia infantil.

La Unidad de Tecnologia Digital de la Policia Estatal de New Jersey coordinó esta investigación, que se inició cuando la Policia Estatal, recibió una denuncia del Centro Nacional de Personas Perdidas y Explotadas.

Chen, será sentenciado por el juez Dangler el 29 de agosto próximo. El Estado recomendará una sentencia de 3 años de prisión.
