Un Hombre del Condado de Morris County es Sentenciado por Distribuir Pornografia Infantil

TRENTON - La Fiscal General Anne Milgram informó que un hombre del Condado de Morris fue sentenciado a 3 años de cárcel después de ser encontrado culpable de distribuir pornografia infantil a través del internet.

Geecheng Chen, de 54 años, residente en Long Valley, fue sentenciado por el Juez de la Corte Superior del Condado de Morris John B. Dangler. Chen, quien fue acusado de poner en peligro el bienestar de un menor y distribuir pornografia infantil, será recluido en una prisión estatal.

Che, admitió su culpabilidad el 17 de diciembre de 2007. Una investigación conjunta entre la Policia Estatal de New Jersey y la División de Justicia Criminal permitió descubrir que Chen comercializaba la pornografia infantil utilizando el sistema de servicios de mensaje AIM y Photobucket, una página Web que permite a la gente compartir fotografias.

El 5 de abril de 2008, los detectives de la policia estatal efectuaron una orden de allanamiento en la vivienda de Chen y allí se encontró varios videos con pornografía infantil.

La Unidad de Investigacion Tecnologica Digital de la Policia Estatal coordinó esta investigacion. El Vice Fiscal Lee Schwartz, representó a la Division de Justicia Criminal durante la sentencia de Chen.

La investigación se inició cuando la Policia Estatal de New Jersey recibió una información confidencial del Centro Nacional de Ninos Perdidos y Explotados (The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children).
