Un Hombre de Atlantic City es Acusado de Cometer Robo de Beneficios de Seguro Médico

TRENTON - La Fiscal General Anne Milgram informó que un hombre de Atlantic City ha sido acusado de cometer el robo de más de $6,000 en beneficios del seguro médico destinado al proveedor de los servicios médicos. La Procuradora de la Oficina contra los Fraudes en Seguros dio a conocer que Charles J. Tiemann, de 59 años, de Galloway, fue acusado de robo en tercer grado.

Entre el 29 de junio de 2007 y el 17 de junio de 2008, Tiemann, quien estuvo asegurado con Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, recibió 6 cheques por un total de $6,074 de Horizon, que eran los pagos por los servicios médicos suministrados a su esposa Francine Tiemann, por Integrative Medical Center. Según la acusacion,Tiemann no cumplió con enviar la suma de $6,074 a Integrative Medical Center y por el contrario usó en forma personal este dinero.

La detective Natalie Brotherston, el investigador civil Bonnie Apone, y la Vice Fiscal Geraldine D. Zidow fueron asignados a esta investigacion. Zidow sometió el caso a un jurado investigador de Atlantic County.

Los delitos en tercer grado se castigan con sentencias máximas de 5 años en prisión y el pago de una multa de $15,000. Tiemann, también enfrenta la posibilidad de multas por la parte civil.
