WHO:
Students
from JJC residential community homes, accompanied
by staff, will attend a mock senate session.
WHAT:
As part of their daily educational curriculum,
JJC students have been studying the governmental
process. At the mock senate session, they
will consider and cast their votes on several
pieces of legislation pertaining to juveniles.

Jersey State law protects juveniles’
confidentiality (2A:4A-60).
Juveniles
may be photographed from behind as long their
faces are not identifiable.
Consent will be obtained to allow several
juveniles to speak with members of the press.
Interaction with other juveniles is prohibited.
