Una Mujer del Condado de Cumberland es Sentenciada por Reclamo Faudulento al Seguro de Automóvil

TRENTON - La Fiscal General Anne Milgram y la Directora de la División de Justicia Criminal Deborah L. Gramiccioni informaron que una mujer del Condado de Cumberland County fue sentenciada a 5 años de libertad condicional y multada con $5,000 a su vez deberá devolver la cantidad de $8,531 por haber efectuado el reclamo fraudulento del seguro de su automovil.

Gramiccioni,dio a conocer que Cheryl Wynder, de 56 años, de Bridgeton, se declaró culpable el 19 de junio pasado al comparecer ante el juez Robert P. Becker en la Corte Superior en el condado de Cumberland por cargos de fraude en seguros de vehiculos en tercer grado.

Wynder, confesó que el 4 de agosto de 2008, sometió un reclamo fraudulento del robo de su vehiculo a su firma aseguradora the Travelers Insurance Company, indicando que su camioneta Ford Explorer 2002 habia sido robado, cuando en realidad ella sabia que esto era falso.

La investigacion de las autoridades reveló que Wynder ofreció a dinero a su sobrino para llevarse el vehiculo y destruirlo, debido a que no habia efectuado los pagos de su vehiculo por varios meses. Los cargos en contra de su sobrino que no fue identificado estan pendientes.

"El robo de vehiculos en New Jersey sigue siendo prioridad de las autoridades policiales y los reclamos de seguros falsos son robos que se hacen a las afirmas aseguradoras con este tipo de modalidades”, dijo Gramiccioni.
