Un hombre del Condado de Passaic se declara Culpable de Cometer Fraude por $12,000

TRENTON - La Fiscal General Anne Milgram y la Directora de la Division de Justicia Criminal Deborah L. Gramiccioni informaron que un hombre del condado de Passaic se declaró culpable de utilizar el plan medico de seguro de su padre para obtener recetas de medicamentos contra el dolor.

La Procuradora Interina contra los Fraudes en Seguros Riza Dagli, dio a conocer que David Van Dunk, Jr., de 35 años, de Hewitt, se declaró culpable de
robo en tercr grado, al comparecer ante el Juez de la Corte Superior Nestor F. Guzmán, en el condado de Passaic. Los cargos figuran en las acusaciones formuladas por un jurado investigador de Passaic el 7 de octubre de 2,008.

El juez Guzmán fijo la fecha de la sentencia para el 31 de agosto. El Estado recomendará que Van Dunk sea sentenciado a 3 años de libertad condicional condicionado a servir 364 dias en una prision del condado.

Van Dunk, confesó qiue entre el 24 de enero y el 8 de noviembre de 2,006, fraudulentamente usó el plan médico de su padre para conseguir recetas y luego medicamentos que incluian: oxycodone, Percocet, morphine sulfate, y Endocet. Van Dunk habia indicado que los medicamentos fueron para su padre, cuando en realidad lo utilizó personalmente. Como resultado del fraude, la firma Connecticut General Life Insurance Company pagó a varias farmacias un total de $12,140.
