Trenton, NJ - The New Jersey
State Police State House Security Unit is
currently investigating a serious motor
vehicle accident involving a struck pedestrian
at 100 Riverview Plaza in Trenton. Preliminary
information indicates that a 31 year old
Trenton resident, employed by the NJ Department
of Education, was standing outside of her
office when a vehicle ran off the roadway
and pinned her against an office building.
She was transported to Helene Fuld Medical
Center and is currently listed in critical
condition. The driver, Keith Costill, 55,
of Pennington is also a state employee who
works for the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs.
There is no information indicating that
the two people knew each other. This accident
remains under investigation with assistance
from the New Jersey State Police Major Crime
Unit, Fatal Accident Investigation Unit,
and Crime Scene Unit. Charges are pending.
