EEO/Workforce Development Planning Bureau

 
  • Responsible for the ongoing process of developing, implementing and monitoring a statewide Equal Employment Opportunity/Workforce Development Plan, and other related activities.
 

External Complaints/Appeals Bureau

 
  • Receives and investigates complaints of discrimination filed by employees who have a conflict of interest that prohibits them from filing within their own agencies.
  • Monitors appeals of discrimination cases that are filed with the Merit System Board.
  • Processes requests for the designation of Bona Fide Occupational Qualification positions.
  • Monitors the executive agencies' discrimination complaint investigations.
 

Information & Special Programs Bureau

 
  • Provides EEO/AA Officers with technical assistance.
  • Coordinates all events, trainings, and meetings of the EEO/AA Officers and other special events or programs.
  • Provides customer service to members of the public on EEO/AA issues.
 

EEO Bureau

 
  • Assists the Division with the development, implementation, and monitoring of EEO/AA policies and procedures statewide.
  Operations
 
  • Houses the following units: External Complaints Unit, the EEO and Workforce Development Unit, and the EEO Office.
  Administration
 
  • Houses the following: Data Processing, Communications & Special Programs, and Secretarial Support.
