How it Works

Employees start by posting their job titles on the DOP • PROS web site (go to Job Seekers below) to let New Jersey Merit System employers know they are seeking a career change. Appointing Authorities with access to the bank search for candidates who meet their vacancy criteria. If an employee's title matches or is comparable to a vacancy, the employer emails the Division of Human Resource Management - Intergovernmental Services for information about hiring the candidate for the position.
