GETTING STARTED

  1. The first step in completing your transfer is to identify a current transfer opening that you would like to apply for.

  2. Next, apply directly to the appointing authority for the vacancy you want.

  3. Third, have the appointing authority obtain a copy of the Guide to the Intergovernmental Transfer Process for Appointing Authorities by contacting Intergovernmental Services at (609) 292-9184.

  4. Finally, the appointing authority must submit information about a vacancy to the Division by completing DPF-722.
