The Division of Local Human Resource Management (LHRM), under the Department of Personnel’s State and Local Government Operations, is the primary point of customer service contact for human resource matters for local merit system agencies. Some responsibilities of LHRM include reclassification requests, assigning positions to appropriate titles, administering reductions in force, maintaining local employee personnel records through CAMPS, and the issuance of certifications.
