Commissioner of Personnel Rolando Torres, Jr. addressed the FOP convention, praising Governor Corzine’s Blue Heart Law Enforcement Assistance Program.

An outgrowth of DOP’s Cop2Cop Wounded Officers’ Initiative, this new bill provides peer counseling, group and individual therapy, and other support services to officers who were wounded in the line of duty

Commissioner Torres said, “The worst thing we can do is to forget our brave men and women after they have been wounded in the line of duty.”
