WINTER SOLSTICE HIKE - 4:00 p.m., Whitesbog Village, 120-13 Whitesbog Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Join BCC PINES to enjoy the last days of autumn as we hike on sandy roads through forests and along cranberry bogs. Learn of the strategies used by plants and animals to survive the cold and often dry conditions of the Pine Barrens in winter. Please bring a flashlight. Please call 609-894-9311 x 2537 to register.

WHITESBOG VILLAGE TOUR - 1:00 p.m., Whitesbog Village, 120-13 Whitesbog Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Stroll the Historic Village, learn about Whitesbog's role in history and visit Suningive, Elizabeth White's historic home, the worker's cottages and other buildings that speak of Whitesbog's heritage. MOONLIGHT WALK - 7:00 p.m., Whitesbog Village, 120-13 Whitesbog Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Listen to the night sounds of the Pines, learn all about Whitesbog and experience the seasonal changes of the Pinelands. All walks are 3-5 miles in length, weather permitting and led by experienced guides. Please call 609-893-4646 for reservations. Also held on 1/31, 3/7, 4/4 and 5/2.

10th ANNUAL "LINES ON THE PINES" - 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Frog Rock Golf & Country Club, Hammonton, NJ. This is a free event and open t othe general public. The Lines on the Pines event provides a networking and social environment for local authors and artists as well as historical and environmental gropus of the New Jersey Pine Barrens to showcase their talents, sell their products and share information. The primary purpose is to educate the public and create a general awareness and appreciation of this vast area. Please call 609-893-4646 for more information.

LIVING HISTORY TOUR - 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Whitesbog Village, 120-13 Whitesbog Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Learn about Whitesbog's founder and legendary cranberry grower, J.J. White, his daughter and blueberry innovator, Elizabeth C. White, and other residents of Whitesbog from scientists to berry pickers. Docents in period derss will guide you through the Village's fascinating buildings. Reservations required, 609-893-4646 ($10 donation per person).
