This special show will present the singer-songwriter side of this multi-faceted entertainer, featuring songs from the New York Dolls both old and new, his solo records with The David Johansen Band, Buster Poindexter, The Harry Smiths, and even a few choice covers. "I've been wanting to play a bunch of songs that I don't normally get the opportunity to sing in a loud and fast Dolls show. As much as I love that, I also like to explore the more soulful side of singing," Johansen said.
