Deadline to Apply by mail for Vote By Mail Ballot Applications
(Not less than 7 days prior to election)
Last day to receive mail applications for military service and civilian vote by mail ballots. At any time not less than seven days prior to an election, a military service or civilian absentee voter may apply to the county clerk for a vote by mail ballot.

Deadline for Application for Faxed Overseas
Federal Ballot

(Not less than 7 days prior to election)
A qualified overseas voter who wishes to receive a faxed federal ballot for the General Election, must apply to the county clerk no later than the fourth day before the general election.

Deadline for Civilian Vote by Mail Ballot Application
in Person

(On any day up to 3 pm of the day before the election)
Any civilian absentee voter who fails to apply by mail, for an vote by mail ballot 7 days prior to the general election (October 27) may apply in person, or by authorized messenger if the voter is sick or confined, to the county clerk on any day up to 3:00 p.m. of the day before the election (November 2).

The board of education of a type II district may call a special election of the legal voters of the district on only the fourth Tuesday in January, the second Tuesday in March other than in a year when a presidential primary election occurs, in which case no such election on that date may be called, the last Tuesday in September, or the second Tuesday in December when in its judgment the interest of the schools require such an election.
