Friends of the New Jersey State Museum
Since 1968 the Friends of the New Jersey State Museum has supported the collections, exhibitions and educational programs of the Museum through volunteerism, advocacy and fundraising. Friends' members make up the core of the Museum's docent and volunteer groups and enjoy a number of special benefits. In addition to a 10% discount on Friends Shop purchases members also receive advance notice of events, priority registrations, discounts on trip and Kaleidoscope Kids registrations, a quarterly newsletter and so much more.
Throughout the years, the Friends support has made possible the presentation of annual programs such as Super Science Weekend, Kaleidoscope Kids Summer Academy and the Newark Black Film Festival in Trenton.
