SECTION:   WHAT TO SEE

Key Ingredients:
America by Food

Open from January 31 through March 15, 2009

Galleries at 225 West State Street

The exhibition, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the Federation of State Humanities Councils, is circulating in New Jersey through the support of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities. It traces how immigration and technology have changed eating habits throughout 500 years of American history. The New Jersey State Museum installation will add the flavor of Trenton, as well as a broader view of New Jersey's many foodways. The New Jersey Restaurant Association is a project partner.
