May Cinetech Meeting

: If you couldn't make it to NAB in Vegas, or you did but couldn't see everything, join us as we welcome back Ned Soltz and David Landau who will share their entertaining and informative take on this year's show. 

Ned Soltz has 30+ years of independent production experience from producing public service spots to shooting, editing and training. He is a Contributing Editor of DigitalVideo Magazine and writes for an array of other publications including TVTechnologyand ProVideo Coalition. He serves as president of Mopictive, NYC (formerly, New York Final Cut Pro Users Group), and just loves to play with all the toys!

Dave Landau began his lighting career in 1977 as an intern with academy award-winning cinematographer, Haskell Wexler on the film, "Coming Home", starring Jane Fonda and John Voight. A member of both NABET and IATSE, unions representing television and film technicians, Dave has amassed an impressive resume, working in commercials, industrials, broadcast television and feature films. In 2002, Landau began a second career, teaching lighting and cinematography at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he continues as a professor today, balancing his teaching duties with assignments in the industry. Dave is also a 5 time Telly award winner and the author of two books:
