Direct Service Grants
The Office of Faith-Based Initiatives announces the release of the 2013 Direct Service (DS) grant request for proposals. The DS grant program is geared towards building the capacity of New Jersey faith and community-based organizations and enhancing their ability to implement effective community programming. The DS grant program is a competitive program and will provide funds to faith-based and community-based organizations that afford social services to low and moderate income NJ residents. Grant awards are dependent upon available funding.
Application Due Date: 11:59PM, June 28, 2012
This year the application submission process will be conducted on the Department of State's System for Filing Grants Electronically (SAGE). For information on registering onto SAGE please click here.
In order to be eligible to submit a grant application, prospective applicants must attend a mandatory technical assistance session.
Technical Assistance sessions will be held on the following dates:
- Wednesday, May 30, 2012 – The Division of Archives and Records Management (Record Storage) 2300 Stuyvesant Avenue., Trenton, NJ 08625
Two sessions will be held: the morning session will take place from 10AM – 12PM and the afternoon session will take place from 1PM – 3PM.
