The New Jersey Committee on Native American Community Affairs has been charged by Executive Order 24 to evaluate the current social and economic condition of Native American Indians in New Jersey.  As part of the Committee’s investigation, the following Public Hearings will be held:

Tuesday, January 9, 2007
6:30- 9:00pm
Ramapo College, Student Center, Room 136

Thursday, January 11, 2007
6:30-9:00pm
Gloucester County College, Instructional Center, Room 430

Persons wishing to give testimony must sign the speaker’s list at the registration desk. Speakers will be called in the order in which they register. All testimony will become part of the official Public Hearing record. In order to facilitate the testimony process, speakers will be allotted five minutes to make a statement.

Written statements may be given instead of, or in addition to, oral testimony, and should be mailed to:

The closing date for written comments is January 12, 2006. Comments must be postmarked on or before that date to be included in the Public Hearing record.
