Trenton, NJ - Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells is pleased to welcome the incomparable R&B soul singer Patti Labelle, who has mesmerized audiences across the world with her unique high octave vocals, to Patriots Theater at the War Memorial in Trenton.

She is also a phenomenal humanitarian and activist who continues in the fight against AIDS and Diabetes."

Ms. Labelle, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and an American icon whose career spans more than four decades, has recorded a host of hits such as On My Own, New Attitude, and If You Asked Me.
The concert, which is part of the War Memorial's 75th anniversary celebration, will feature an opening performance by Tourie and Damien Escobar, the talented brothers of Nuttin' But Stringz. This electrifying violin duo has won critical acclaim for bridging the gap between classical, jazz. R&B and hip-hop music.
In February, "Nuttin'But Stringz" made their debut in the state Capitol during a special performance for the Trenton Public Schools. The concert was sponsored by the Patriots Theater Foundation. The brothers have studied at the Julliard School and Bloomingdale School of Music.
