TRENTON, NJ - Dr. Ian C. Burrow, Vice President and Principal Archaeologist at Hunter Research, a historical research consulting firm in Trenton, New Jersey, will provide the March Sunday Science Lecture at the New Jersey State Museum on March 8, 2009. Dr. Burrow will speak on "Secrets of the Ancients: Myths and Mysteries in Archaeology" beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Museum Auditorium. A graduate of the University of Birmingham and University of Exeter in England, Dr. Burrow has specific expertise in historical and industrial archeology, historical geography and historical landscape analysis.
Following his presentation, the public will have the opportunity to speak directly with Dr. Burrow and enjoy light refreshments in the auditorium lobby.
Sunday Science lectures are sponsored by the Friends of the New Jersey State Museum. Admission and parking in state-owned facilities adjacent to and behind the Museum are free.
The New Jersey State Museum is located at 205 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey.
