Awards to recognize county and municipal PARIS grant recipients who have done especially outstanding work in building and improving the infrastructure of their local government archives and records management functions
EWING, NJ - Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells, joined by representatives from The New Jersey Division of Archives and Records Management (DARM), the Department of State and the New Jersey State Records Committee (SRC), will announce and present the PARIS (Public Archives and Records Infrastructure Support) Awards for Excellence in the following categories: Shared Services; Public On-line Records Access; Records Management Website; Historical Records Focus (County and Municipal); Disaster Preparedness, Prevention and Recovery; Enterprise-Wide Imaging Systems (County and Municipal); Special Award - Artemis Participants.

The PARIS Grants Program, launched in 2005, is funded by fees collected by county clerks and registers for the recording of certain documents, including deeds and mortgages. Forty percent of these funds are reserved annually for grants to county and municipal governments for public records management, preservation and storage.
