New Jersey is celebrating its rich Underground Railroad heritage with the Harriet Tubman and William Still Underground Railroad Walk Across New Jersey. For fourteen consecutive days beginning on September 29, 2002, this celebration of our state's history will retrace 180 miles of the legendary freedom network from Greenwich (Cumberland County) to Jersey City (Hudson County). I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to be part of this historic celebration. |
