Transportation Commissioner James Weinstein will demonstrate a new electronic motor vehicle registration system that affords New Jerseyans a fast, easy and convenient way to renew their registrations over the Internet or by telephone.

AccessDMV was used on a pilot basis from February through March and has been available to general public since April resulting in a 99 percent favorable rating of nearly 8,000 users who completed a survey after their transaction.

The demonstration, which will utilize a large projection screen, will be held on Monday, May 15, at 1:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at NJDOT headquarters in Ewing. Parking for attending media will be available in the parking lot in front of NJDOT headquarters.
