NJDOT proposing to
readopt rules on air safety and zoning
(Trenton) The New Jersey
Department of Transportation is proposing to readopt with amendments
N.J.A.C. 16:62, the rules governing the Department’s regulations
on Air Safety and Zoning.
This rule establishes minimum standards for the control of airport
and aeronautical hazards and standards for land use adjacent to
The amendments are proposed for clarification and to include standards
for two additional airports.
The proposed rule appears in the January 3, 2005 issue of the
New Jersey Register. The public has until March 4, 2005 to comment
on the proposal. Persons wishing to comment on the proposal must
provide their comments in writing to Miriam Crum, Administrative

Comments must be postmarked or sent by telefacsimile on or before
March 4, 2005 which is the close of the 60-day public comment
