Towing reimbursement application for December blizzard is now available

(Trenton) - The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs will accept claims for reimbursement of reasonable towing fees from motorists stranded on those New Jersey roadways designated as state highways, interstate highways, Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike and Atlantic City Expressway during the recent declared state of emergency.

The declared state of emergency began on Sunday, December 26, 2010, at 3 p.m., and ended on Monday, December 27, 2010, at 9 p.m.

Unreasonable towing fees will be investigated by the Division of Consumer Affairs.
