The rules of the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) are established within the New Jersey Administrative Code (N.J.A.C.) Title 16, Transportation. Rules expire every five years and must be re-adopted or allowed to lapse.
Courtesy copies of Department rules can be viewed below. For your convenience the Motor Vehicle Commission's rule describing the process to obtain permits for overdimensional or overweight vehicles is also found below. The official version found in the New Jersey Administrative Code can be viewed at LexisNexis. Should a discrepancy be found between the courtesy version and the official version, the latter shall govern.
