Multimodal Grants and Programs

Overview

The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) is responsible for the oversight of several modes of transportation including aviation, maritime and rail, making it a multimodal focused service organization.

NJDOT has streamlined the process of receiving applications, awarding grants, processing invoices and general program management. In the
future, these grants will be administered through a new online resource, SAGE (System for Administering Grants Electronically).

The SAGE system will be implemented in phases. The first phase is Aviation, which began on September 6, 2011. Please use the template (rtf 980k) to gather the information needed for the online data entry into SAGE.

At this time, only applications for Grants for FAA Matching Funds are being accepted.
