Question 1: Can 2 pages of graphics and schedule be submitted on 11”X17” paper?
Answer 1: Yes.
Question 2: Is the proposal to be electronically submitted and if so is it to be submitted by 10am?
Answer 2: No. The NJDOT will switch over to electronic submissions for Solicitations posted after July 1, 2015.
Question 3: How many copies of the technical proposal are required?
Answer 3: Four (4) copies.
Question 4: I am working on the resume for the Surveying and ROW Engineering Team Leader on this solicitation and noticed something that needs clarification. In the “Experience in Primary Tasks” section of Part 4 (page 6), under “Type of Experience”, one of the key requirements, “Topographic Survey, Base Line Survey, Profile and Cross Sections for Highways”, is listed twice, as both the first and the third items. I am assuming that there should be another item, so can you confirm what it should be?
Answer 4: Repetition of the “type of experience” under Survey was an error. There’s no more item.
Question 5: The solicitation says there is one sign structure in the PPA, but the CD plan for the PPA in CD Report Part 2 of 2, Appendix H, shows two…which is correct?
Answer 5: There are two new sign structures.
