Question 1: Please inform if Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer experience will be considered comparable to Office Engineer experience for projects on which a separate individual was not assigned as the Office Engineer?
Answer 1: The Resident Engineer experience will be considered comparable to Office Engineer experience for projects on which a separate individual was not assigned as the Office Engineer. The Assistant Resident Engineer experience will not be considered comparable to Office Engineer experience for projects on which a separate individual was not assigned as the Office Engineer.
Question 2: Please inform if Site Manager experience will be considered if the experience is in the capacity of an Assistant Resident Engineer for projects on which a separate individual was not assigned as the Office Engineer?
Answer 2: Site Manager experience will not be considered if the experience is in the capacity of an Assistant Resident Engineer for projects on which a separate individual was not assigned as the Office Engineer.
Question 3: Please inform if Certificate for “Concrete Construction Special Inspector” will be considered comparable or acceptable to meet the requirements for the “Concrete Construction Technology Course” (CCTC)?
Answer 3: Yes, it is acceptable.
Question 4: Is it required to name an individual from an ESBE firm in one of the scored positions on the technical proposal evaluation criteria sheet and include a resume or is it sufficient to only list the ESBE firm as part of the team (i.e. schedule analyst)?
Answer 4: No, it is not a requirement to have an individual from an ESBE in a scored position.
