E-mail question(s) to the attention: Manager of Professional Services, Procurement. Specify "TP # 156 question" in subject line.

Questions will be accepted up to question cut-off date noted in the technical proposal.

Technical Proposal

TP-156

Question 1: In reference to TP-156, the Scope of Work shows two separate contracts (North-2017A and South-2017B) for which construction inspection services will be required. If a consulting firm only wants to provide services for one of these contracts and not both, can this be indicated in the transmittal letter and will this be acceptable? We have seen other solicitations with multiple contracts within one proposal where they are to be prioritized at the time of submittal, but this is not indicated in TP-156.

Answer 1: Project preference cannot be indicated for this project. However, if a firm wants to provide services for only one of the two projects this can be indicated in the cover letter. A revised solicitation has been posted.

Question 2: The solicitation calls for an Assistant Resident Engineer with 3 years RE experience – can this be amended to be 3 years serving as an Assistant Resident Engineer.

Answer 2: It is mandatory that the Assistant Resident Engineer has 3 years RE experience.

Question 3: There are four positions proposed with earliest start date for any of the position as Sept 18. Would it be possible to provide start date for each position to clarify release date for individual from current project? Are all four positions anticipated to start at the same time?

Answer 3: All four positions are anticipated to start on September 18, 2017.

Question 4: Is it required to name an individual from a DBE/ESBE firm in one of the scored positions on the technical proposal evaluation criteria sheet and include a resume or is it sufficient to only list the DBE/ESBE firm as part of the team?

Answer 4: It is mandatory that one of the four scored positions is from DBE/ESBE firm.
