Public Use Airports

New Jersey has a total of 486 licensed aviation facilities and heliports. Of those 48 are public use, 77 private use and 361 heliports. Two airports are international: Newark Liberty International and Atlantic City International.

The state’s airports provide flight training, recreational flying and commercial travel.

To learn more about aviation facilities in the state:

  • review the NJ Transportation Fact Book for information about the Division and general aviation airports;

  • choose an airport link.

  • check the NJ Airport Directory listing and the airport city listing below for information on all public use airports in the state, runways and navigation aids (Navaids).

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available at our state Adobe Acrobat Access page to view the PDF files.
