Museums and foundations

From Teterboro in the north of the state to Rio Grande in Cape May County, New Jersey’s southernmost county, eight aviation museums tell about the history of flying in the Garden State.

The museums preserve more than 200 years of aviation heritage, from the famous Curtiss Wright J-5 Whirlwind Engine used by Charles Lindbergh, to space travel exhibits.

To find the museum you would like to visit and learn about its offerings and the days it's open, choose from this list.

Flight Log is an official NJDOT periodical. It offers current information about aviation groups and their activities in New Jersey. The newsletter also highlights special aviation projects that NJDOT undertakes every year to improve and preserve the state's airports.

Articles in the newsletter may be reproduced without permission, but with a courtesy line.

To view past editions of the Flight Log, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available at our state Adobe Acrobat Access page.
