Olden Avenue/Mulberry Street bridges

Route 1, Trenton

The rehabilitation of the Olden Avenue and Mulberry Street bridges (Route 1) in Trenton marked the New Jersey Department of Transportation's (NJDOT) first official "hyperbuild" project. Huge pre-fabricated decks were flown in and trucked to the site. The work collapsed the schedule by 22 months and saving $2.25 million dollars.
