View of the demolished deck (riding surface) and parapet (wall) in the closed-off lane of the westbound 14th Street Viaduct from beneath the structure. The brown colored structure to the left is casing used for drill shaft construction.

Steel reinforcement (green) is outfitted with form work (yellow) in preparation for a concrete pour. When the concrete solidifies, the form work is removed. Known as drill shaft construction, it is taking place beneath the westbound 14th Street Viaduct.
