As one of the Governor's Safety
First Initiatives, the New Jersey Department
of Transportation (NJDOT) is investing
$2.4 million to eliminate the traffic
signal and jughandle at the intersection
of Route 1 and Nassau Park Boulevard in
West Windsor, Mercer County. The contractor
is Rosangela Contracting of Cliffwood.
The work is designed to improve safety
and traffic flow for motorists on Route
1 by upgrading intersections and eliminating
obstacles such as outdated traffic signals
and circles.
