Bridge Usage

Route NJ 7
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 7 described in this subsection shall not be used for the purposes described herein:
1. In Hudson County:
i. In the City of Jersey City:
(1) No jumping, diving, crabbing, fishing, or loitering shall be permitted along both sides:
(A) For the entire length of the Wittpen Bridge over the Hackensack River (approximate milepost 0.42).
ii. In the Town of Kearny:
(1) No jumping, diving, crabbing, fishing, or loitering shall be permitted along both sides:
(A) For the entire length of the Wittpen Bridge over the Hackensack River (approximate milepost 0.42).
(2) No jumping, diving, crabbing, fishing, or loitering shall be permitted along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) For the entire length of the bridge over the Passaic River (approximate milepost 5.35).
2. In Bergen County:
i. In the Borough of North Arlington:
(1) No jumping, diving, crabbing, fishing, or loitering shall be permitted along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) For the entire length of the bridge over the Passaic River (approximate milepost 5.35).
3. In Essex County:
i. In the Township of Belleville:
(1) No jumping, diving, crabbing, fishing, or loitering shall be permitted along both sides:
(A) For the entire length of the bridge over the Passaic River (approximate milepost 6.05).
