Metropark Station
Certain parts of the NJ Transit center known as the Metropark Station, located in the Township of Woodbridge in Middlesex County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic on these sections of the transit center is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided within the transit center.
(b) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Within the entire complex except in designated areas and between painted lines.
(c) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “time limit parking” zones where parking is permitted as described:
(1) No parking for longer than the posted time limit Sunday through Saturday, 24 hours a day:
(A) In the West Parking Deck, Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and designated portions of Level 5.
(B) In the drop-off/pick-up area adjacent to the West Parking Deck.
(C) In the surface parking lot adjacent to Wood Avenue.
(d) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “permit parking only” zones where parking is prohibited at all times unless a valid vehicle permit is displayed:
(1) Permit parking only Sunday through Saturday, 24 hours a day:
(A) In the East Parking Deck on all levels (1-5).
(B) In the West Parking Deck, designated portions of Levels 1-5 and all of Levels 6 and 7.
(C) In the surface parking lot adjacent to Wood Avenue.
(d) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated for one way traffic:
(1) One-way streets:
(A) Along ramps and roadways located within the complex and parking garages as indicated on the site plan.
(e) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 15 MPH along East Driveway, West Driveway and North Driveway for their entire lengths.
(B) Zone 2: 15 MPH along all levels and aisles of the East Parking Deck, West Parking Deck, and surface lots.
(f) Lane usage for the certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection is hereby regulated as follows:
(1) Left lane for left turn only:
(A) At the intersection of the East Driveway and the Middlesex-Essex Turnpike for southbound traffic.
(B) At the intersection of the East Deck Exit and the East Driveway.
(C) At the intersection of the West Deck Driveway and the Middlesex-Essex Traffic for southbound traffic.
(D) At the intersection of the West Deck West Entrance Road and the West Deck Entrance for eastbound traffic.
(2) Left lane for through traffic only:
(A) At the intersection of the East Driveway and the East Deck Entrance for northbound traffic.
(3) Center lane for right turn only:
(A) At the intersection of the East Driveway and the Middlesex-Essex Turnpike for southbound traffic.
(B) At the intersection of the West Deck Driveway and the Middlesex-Essex Traffic for southbound traffic.
(4) Right lane for right turn only:
(A) At the intersection of the East Driveway and the Middlesex-Essex Turnpike for southbound traffic.
(B) At the intersection of the East Driveway and the East Deck Entrance for northbound traffic.
(C) At the intersection of the West Deck Driveway and the Middlesex-Essex Traffic for southbound traffic.
(5) Right lane for through traffic only:
(A) At the intersection of the East Deck Exit and the East Driveway.
(B) At the intersection of the West Deck West Entrance Road and the West Deck Entrance for eastbound traffic.
(6) Northbound lane for through traffic only:
(A) At the intersection of the West Deck Driveway and the Middlesex-Essex Traffic for northbound traffic.
(g) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as mid-block crosswalks:
(1) Mid-block crosswalks:
(A) Along the North Driveway between a point 270 feet west of the westerly curb line of the East Driveway and a point 10 feet westerly therefrom.
(B) Along the West Deck Exit Lane between a point 57 feet west of the west wall of the West Deck and a point 10 feet westerly therefrom
(h) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “tow-away zones”, where any vehicle parked or standing may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owners or operators expense:
(1) Tow-Away Zones:
(A) Any vehicles parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills, any grassy area, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard.
(i) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as loading zones, where parking is prohibited at all times except for the loading or unloading of passengers:
(1) Loading zones along the north side:
(A) Along Road “A” for the entire length of the overhang.
(j) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
(1) Bus stop along the northerly side:
(A) Along the roadway fronting the railroad terminal, between 25 feet from the westerly curb line of the pedestrian crosswalk and 360 feet westerly therefrom.
(k) The use of the certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection is hereby restricted to certain classes of traffic as described:
(1) No vehicles other than omnibuses and livery vehicles:
(A) Along the left lane for the entire length of the East Driveway.
