Restricted Parking and Stopping


Route NJ 168

(a)

The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 168 described in this subsection are designated and established as "no stopping or standing" zones where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times, except in areas covered by other parking restrictions adopted in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, NJSA 52:14B-1 et seq., and NJAC 1:30. In accordance with the NJSA 39:4-198, proper signs shall be erected to notify the motoring public.

1.

In Gloucester County:

i. In the Township of Washington:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

2.

In Camden County:

i. In the Township of Gloucester:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) From Asyla Road-Lakeland Avenue to Marshall Road.

(B)  Between NJ Route 42 and Garden Avenue (approximate mileposts 3.42 to 3.72).

(C) Between Fourth Avenue and Seventh Avenue (approximate mileposts 4.89 to 5.03).

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) From a point 150 feet north of the northerly curb line of Station Avenue to a point 110 feet south of the southerly curb line of Station Avenue.

ii. In the Borough of Runnemede:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the intersection of Eighth Avenue and a point 50 feet northerly thereof.

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between the intersection of Smith Lane and a point 75 feet northerly thereof.

(B) Between Haverford Road and Ardmore Avenue.

iii. In the Borough of Bellmawr:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

iv.  In the Borough of Mount Ephraim:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

v. In the Borough of Haddon Heights:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) From the Bellmawr Borough-Haddon Heights Borough corporate line to the center line of New Jersey Avenue.

vi. In the Township of Haddon and the City of Camden:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) From the Haddon Township – Camden City corporate line to a point 650 feet north of the bridge over the North Branch of Newton Creek.

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) From a point 650 feet north of the bridge over the North Branch of Newton Creek to the northerly curb line of South Collings Avenue.

(b)

The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 168 described in this subsection shall be designated as "no parking bus stop" zones where parking is prohibited at all times. In accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-199, permission is granted to erect appropriate signs at the following established bus stops:

In Gloucester County:

i. In the Township of Washington:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Wilson Road - beginning at the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Wilson Road and extending to a point 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(2)

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Sicklerville Road - beginning at the northerly curb line of Sicklerville Road and extending to a point 100 feet northerly therefrom.

(3)

Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Wilson Road - beginning at the southerly curb line of Wilson Road and extending to a point 100 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Sicklerville Road - beginning at the southerly curb line of Sicklerville Road and extending to a point 100 feet easterly therefrom.

2.

In Camden County:

i. In the Township of Gloucester:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Ninth Street - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Ninth Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) Woodland Avenue - Beginning at the southerly prolongated curb line of Woodland Avenue and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(C) Asyla Road - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Asyla Road and extending 110 feet southerly therefrom.

(D) Hillcrest Avenue - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Hillcrest Avenue and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(E) Drexel Avenue - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Drexel Avenue and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(F) East Lake Avenue - Beginning at the southerly curb line of East Lake Avenue and extending 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(G) Lincoln Avenue - Beginning at the southerly prolongated curb line of Lincoln Avenue and extending 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(H) Erial Road – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Erial Road and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(2)

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Fifth Avenue-Beginning at the northerly curb line of Fifth Avenue and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) Cressmont Avenue-Beginning at the northerly curb line of Cressmont Avenue and extending 120 feet northerly therefrom.

(C) East Church Street-Beginning at the northerly curb line of East Church Street and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.

(D) Coles Road-Beginning at the northerly curb line of Coles Road and extending 120 feet northerly therefrom.

(E) Landing Road – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Landing Road and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.

(3)

Mid-block bus stop along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between Marshall Avenue and Fanelli Lane – Beginning at a point 250 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Marshall Avenue and extending 135 feet southerly therefrom.

(4)

Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Lincoln Avenue - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Lincoln Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) West Church Street Beginning at the northerly curb line of West Church Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(C) Lake Avenue-Beginning at the northerly curb line of Lake Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(D) Elaine Avenue-Beginning at the northerly curb line of Elaine Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(E) Lakeland Road-Beginning at the northerly curb line of Lakeland Road and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Almonesson Blenheim Road - at the southerly curb line of Almonesson Blenheim Road and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Cressmont Avenue - Beginning at the southerly prolongated curb line of Cressmont Avenue and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.

(C) Hillcrest Avenue - Beginning at the southerly prolongated curb line of Hillcrest Avenue and extending 110 feet southerly therefrom.

(D) Woodland Avenue - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Woodland Avenue and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.

ii. In the Borough of Runnemede:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Ardmore Avenue – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Ardmore Avenue and extending 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Haverford Avenue – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Haverford Avenue and extending 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(C) Plaza Place – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Plaza Place and extending 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(D) Second Avenue – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Second Avenue and extending 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(E) Fifth Avenue – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Fifth Avenue and extending 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(F) Eighth Avenue (Smiths Lane) – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Eighth Avenue (Smiths Lane) and extending 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(G) Ninth Avenue – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Ninth Avenue and extending 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(2)

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Sixth Avenue – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Sixth Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) Tenth Avenue – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Tenth Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(C) Third Avenue – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Third Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(D) Evesham Road – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Evesham Road and extending 120 feet northerly therefrom.

(3)

Mid-block bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between points 166 feet south of, and 296 feet south of the southerly curb line of Clements Bridge Road.

(B) Between the northerly curb line of New Jersey Turnpike entrance and a point 130 feet northerly thereof.

(4)

(A) Browning Road – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Browning Road and extending 144 feet northerly therefrom.

(2)

Mid-block bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between Beningo Boulevard and Cypress Avenue - Beginning 150 feet south of the southerly curb line of Beningo Boulevard and extending 135 feet southerly therefrom;

(B) East Chestnut Avenue - Beginning 73 feet south of the southerly curb line of East Chestnut Avenue and extending 135 feet southerly therefrom.

iv. In the Borough of Mount Ephraim:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) George Street - beginning at the southerly curb line of George Street and extending to a point 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Valley Road - beginning at the southerly curb line of Valley Road and extending to a point 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(A) Second Avenue - beginning at the northerly curb line of Second Avenue and extending to a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) Fifth Avenue - beginning at the northerly curb line of Fifth Avenue and extending to a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(C) Buckingham Avenue - beginning at the northerly curb line of Buckingham Avenue and extending to a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(D) Thompson Avenue - beginning at the northerly curb line of Thompson Avenue and extending to a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

v. In the Borough of Haddon Heights:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Prospect Ridge Boulevard - beginning at the southerly curb line of Prospect Ridge Boulevard and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Bryn Mawr Avenue - beginning at the southerly curb line of Bryn Mawr Avenue and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(C) Wayne Street - beginning at the southerly curb line of Wayne Street and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

vi. In the Township of Haddon:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Elm Street - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Elm Street and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Grant Street - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Grant Street and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(2)

Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Nicholson Road - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Nicholson Road and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) Washington Avenue - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Washington Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(C) Lake Drive - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Lake Drive and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(3)

Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Pershing Avenue - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Pershing Avenue and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Berwick Avenue - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Berwick Avenue and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.

vii. In the Borough of Audubon:

(1)

Mid-block bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side

(A) Nicholson Road and North Merchant Street – Beginning at a point 205 feet south of the southerly curb line of Nicholson Road and extending to a point 135 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Between North Merchant Street and Main Street  - Beginning 205 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Main Street and extending 135 feet southerly therefrom.

viii. In the Borough of Audubon Park:

(1)

Mid-block bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Beginning 100 feet north of the northerly curb line of Kennedy Drive and extending 135 feet northerly therefrom.

ix. In the City of Camden:

(1)

Mid-block bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Beginning 1630 feet north of the northerly curb line of Grant Avenue and extending 135 feet northerly therefrom.

x. In the Borough of Woodlynne:

(1)

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Beginning at the northerly curb line of Woodlynne Avenue and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.

(c)

The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 168 described in this subsection shall be designated and established as "time limit parking" zones where parking is prohibited except as specified below. In accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-199, permission is granted to erect appropriate signs in the following established time limit parking zones:

1.

In Camden County:

i. In the Township of Gloucester:

(1)

Two (2) hour time limit parking from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday along both sides:

(A) From the northerly curb line of Garfield Avenue to the southerly curb line of East Lake Avenue.
