Restricted Parking and Stopping

Route NJ 29
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 29 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
1. In Mercer County:
i. In the Township of Hamilton:
No locations at this time.
ii. In the City of Trenton:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iii. In the Township of Ewing:
No locations at this time.
iv. In the Township of Hopewell:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
2. In Hunterdon County: Note: State Highway Route NJ 29 is under the jurisdiction of the County of Hunterdon from approximate mileposts 34.28 to 34.71. Note: State Highway Route NJ 29 is coincident with State Highway Route NJ 165 from approximate mileposts 18.60 to 18.87. Note: State Highway Route NJ 29 is coincident with State Highway Route NJ 179 from approximate mileposts 18.87 to 18.89.
i. In the Township of West Amwell:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
ii. In the City of Lambertville:
(1) No stopping or standing at all times along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Beginning at the southerly West Amwell-Lambertville City corporate line extending to a point 780 feet northerly therefrom (180 feet north of the end of the concrete median on the northerly side of the median opening at milepost 18.15).
(B) Between a point 380 feet north of the end of the concrete median on the northerly side of the median opening at milepost 18.15 extending to a point 450 feet north of the northerly curb line of Weeden Street.
(C) Between a point 200 feet north of the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Feeder Street extending to a point 130 feet northerly therefrom.
(D) Beginning at the northerly curb line of Route NJ 179 (Bridge Street) north to the northerly City of Lambertville-West Amwell corporate line.
(2) No stopping or standing at all times along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Beginning at the southerly curb line of Mt. Hope Street extending to the northerly curb line of Feeder Street.
(B) Between a point 660 feet south of the southerly curb line of Feeder Street extending to a point 410 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Weeden Street.
(C) Between a point 570 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Weeden Street extending to the southerly City of Lambertville-West Amwell Township corporate line.
iii. In the Township of Delaware:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Between Paulmier Road and the Delaware Township – Kingswood Township corporate line (approximate mileposts 24.32 to 26.24).
iv. In the Borough of Stockton:
(1) No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Between the Borough of Stockton-Township of Delaware southerly corporate line and a point 150 feet north of the intersection of the center line of Bridge Street with the easterly curb line of Route NJ 29.
(2) No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between the center line of Bridge Street and a point 158 feet southerly therefrom.
v. In the Township of Kingwood:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
vi. In the Borough of Frenchtown:
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 29 described in this subsection shall be designated and established as "No Stopping or Standing Tow-Away" zones where vehicles shall be towed if stopping or standing at all times.
1. In Mercer County:
i. In the City of Trenton:
(1) Tow-away zones along both sides:
(A) Beginning at the Township of Hamilton–City of Trenton corporate line to the most southerly portion of the Amtrack Railroad Bridge Overpass, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 1.7 to 3.3).
(c) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 29 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking certain hours” zones where parking is permitted as described:
1. In Hunterdon County:
i. In the City of Lambertville:
(1) No parking (street cleaning) along the southbound (westerly) side from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Wednesdays:
(A) Between Cherry Street and Bridge Street (Route 179).
(d) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 29 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “time limit parking” zones where parking is permitted as described:
1. In Hunterdon County:
i. In the City of Lambertville:
(1) Four hour (metered) time limit parking along the southbound (westerly) side, Monday – Saturday 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM:
(A) Beginning at the southerly curb line of York Street to a point 205 feet southerly therefrom.
(B) Beginning at a point 245 feet south of the southerly curb line of York Street extending southerly to a point 250 feet south of the southerly curb line of Church Street.
(2) Four hour (metered) time limit parking along the southbound (westerly) side, Sundays 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM:
(A) Beginning at the southerly curb line of York Street to a point 205 feet southerly therefrom.
(B) Beginning at a point 245 feet south of the southerly curb line of York Street extending southerly to a point 250 feet south of the southerly curb line of Church Street.
(3) Two hour time limit parking along the southbound (westerly) side, at all times:
(A) Beginning at a point 410 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Weeden Street extending to a point 160 feet southerly therefrom.
(e) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 29 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “loading zones”, where parking is prohibited as described:
1. In Hunterdon County:
i. In the City of Lambertville:
(1) No parking (loading zone) along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between a point 205 feet south of the southerly curb line York Street and extending 42 feet southerly therefrom.
(f) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 29 described in the subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” spaces for the use of persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards, plates or placards or placards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.5:
1. In Hunterdon County:
i. In the City of Lambertville:
(1) Handicapped parking along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Beginning at a point 150 feet south of the southerly curb line of Elm Street and extending to a point 22 feet southerly therefrom (pursuant to NJSA 39:4-197.5).
(B) Beginning at a point 55 feet south of the southerly curb line of Delevan Street and extending to a point 22 feet southerly therefrom (pursuant to NJSA 39:4-197.5).
(g) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 29 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” zones in the front of a residence occupied by a handicapped person or another occupant of the residence who is a member of the immediate family of the handicapped person who has been issued special vehicle identification cards, plates, or placards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.6:
1. In Hunterdon County:
i. In the City of Lambertville:
(1) Handicapped parking along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Beginning at a point 55 feet south of the southerly curb line of Delevan Street and extending to a point 22 feet southerly therefrom (In the area of 93 North Main Street, pursuant to NJSA 39:4-197.6).
ii. In the Borough of Stockton:
(1) Handicapped parking along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Beginning at a point 35 feet south of the southerly curb line of Moore Street and extending 22 feet southerly therefrom.
