Restricted Parking and Stopping


Route NJ 53

(a)

The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 53 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:

1.

In Morris County:

i. In the Borough of Morris Plains:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

ii. In the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the northerly curb line of Tarn Drive and the southerly curb line of Park Road.

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between a point 1,150 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Tarn Drive and a point 1,560 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Tarn Drive.

iii. In the Township of Denville:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the Parsippany-Troy Hills Township – Denville Township corporate line and the center line of Richwood Place.

(B) Between the center line of Menagh Avenue and the center line of Bloomfield Avenue.

(C) Between a point 150 feet south of the center line of Broadway-Diamond Spring Road and the center line of Broadway-Diamond Spring Road.

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between the center line of Bloomfield Avenue and the Denville Township – Parsippany Troy Hills Township corporate line.

(b)

The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 53 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:

1.

In Morris County:

i. In the Borough of Morris Plains:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the southerly curb line of Pfizer South and a point 105 feet southerly therefrom. (In front of Johnson & Johnson).

(2)

Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between the northerly curb line of Pfizer South and a point 105 feet northerly therefrom. (In front of Pfizer).

ii. In the Township of Denville:

(1)

Mid-block bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between a point 1,520 feet south of the southerly curb line of Lackawanna Avenue and a point 135 feet southerly therefrom.

(c)

The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 53 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking certain hours” zones where parking is permitted as described:

1.

In Morris County:

i. In the Township of Denville:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday:

(A) Between the center line of Bloomfield Avenue and a point 150 feet south of the center line of Broadway-Diamond Spring Road.
